BHS Energy "Slugger 1500" and "Slugger 2000" biomass extrusion presses
The BHS Energy Slugger biomass briquette presses are the lowest cost per pound of throughput of any briquetter on the market. It is designed to be a reliable and easy to use method of producing combustible fuel from various biomass feedstocks. The Slugger is powered by a farm tractor's PTO (or optional 3-phase electric) and is appropriate for a small energy producer who has pre-ground material or is otherwise able to grind their own biomass and wishes to produce fuel for themselves or for sale. |

The Slugger series biomass briquetting system utilizes a farm tractor's PTO as a source of power. It is capable of producing up to 1200 lbs. per hour of round briquettes. The Slugger is intended to be a low-cost machine suitable for an individual, cooperative or company who wishes to manufacture combustible fuel for themselves or for sale to commercial and residential heating markets.
